Neither Nostradamus nor the Mayans have ever made a prediction that came true. Every time someone claims the world is going to end, they also claim Nostradamus backs them up. You'd think people would stop claiming this since he's apparently been wrong thousands of times already.

They're both nonsense.

They didn't even make a "prediction" this time. They made a calendar that combines all the cycles they knew of – moon, sun, eclipses, etc. – and marked out when they all come together again at which point the cycles all continue on – saying they are "forecasting" the end of the world is like saying my calendar on the wall forecasts the end on Dec. 31.

Nostradamus was syphillitic and bipolar, and everything that he wrote is unintelligible nonsense. His writings make more sense if you apply them to the Chicago Cubs.
The Mayans never made any predictions. Ever. The modern Mayans in Central America think that the 2012 stuff is stupid.

As Nostradamus never mentioned 2012, the jackals that make a living off the dead guy had to make something up… so they came up with "The Lost Books of Nostradamus". At the beginning of the "documentary", they pretty much admit that it's all a fraud, as the "Lost Books" are a series of drawings and Nostradamus never really showed any art ability, but not surprisingly, the truth seems, well, irrelevant.
Nostradamus had NOTHING to do with the "Lost Books" but it doesn't matter. After 2012, when all this is shown to just be a vast money-making scheme, people will just forget and in a few years, some feces-for-brains author will claim that a "new" collection of Nostradamus will show that the world will end in 2019… or 2023… or something. People will buy the new books and watch yet another "documentary" about it.
If you want a laugh, watch "The Man Who Saw Tomorrow" narrated by Orson Welles. Mr Welles has a very deep resonating voice, and a deep sense of drama. He could sell CDs of himself reading the phone book. "TMWST" is a WAY over-the-top show, obviously a precursor to "Apocalypso-thon" and who knows… "This is Spinal Tap"? Learn about the dangers of reading Nostradamus and expecting anything to make sense BEFORE something happens…. like:
1) in 1999 world war three starts.
2) in 1988 California slides into the ocean.
Really, "seeing the future" is a joke. If you could see the future, wouldn't you cash in on LOTTO? Hell, I would. It's like $100 million dollars here this week! How many "psychics" win a piece of that every time? Zero?
Why is that?
