   Neither Nostradamus nor the Mayans had any end of the world predictions.

   The Mayans used a calendar whose cycle happens to be very long and one cycle will end in 2012. This is like how our calendar's cycle ends December 31st. It doesn't mean the world will end, and in fact the Mayans had other time scales that extend well past 2012, indicating that they surely believe the world will still be there.

   Nostradamus has a bunch of vague ramblings. Not once has anyone managed to predict anything specific with Nostradamus's writings and had their predictions come true. Instead, all you get are retrofits; attempts to make Nostradamus's statements apply to things that have already happened.

   NOSTRADAMUS conducted his writing through strings of assumptions with some or no proof to back up. Even if he did have proof of his answers, it would be totally coincidental.

   However the Mayans predictions were totally astronomical which can be verified by contemporary scientists.

   Nostradamus predicted many things towards HIS interpretation of when the world would end.
   He NEVER predicted the 'actual' end. He did predict or rather forecast the signs leading towards the end. The Mayans based much on superstition and astrological workings..BUT made a prediction that included a time 2012..however they didnt specify the actual time./day nor hour nor month in 2012.
   SO…like everyone who reads the predictions of both fellows..we just have to wait…and see
   In the meantime, I suggest that U..simply lay back and cross your fingers.
   Better still..go to church>> IF your superstitious!!
