   the mayans never predicted a doomsday lol. 12-21-2012 is nothing more then the first day of the 14th b'ak'tun in mayan culture. they would build a temple and promote a new leader on this day most likely. but there would be nothing catastrophic depicted, it will actually be a great honor in mayan culture to be alive that day. dont believe me? do a little research, just a little before you start buying into 2012 doomsday crap.

   Mayan claimed to know the end, likely it means another 80,000-heart-cutting-deaths in four-days; just to feel the power. I knew someone who defended Mayan as a literate culture, and he was so dumb as to claim they were a moral people; slavery, random killings, cutting out hearts, the princess who collected penises from lovers; all point to a early culture that really practiced human sacrifice as its false god. We get a Hollywood move from this, death is a sure thing in Hollywood.

    the mayans were really clever ppl who unterstood the world better than anyone ive watched alot of docs about them and i beleive that something will happen to our planet maybe not on that date but around that time i beleive it wont be the end of the world but the end of us as we now it and i think the human race will start all over again. if there right there could be just a few thousand ppl who surive

    There is NO documented doomsday, the calendar simply ended, there is NO "end of everything" at that time….it's a Eurocentric point of view so those authors can sell a book and leach off of our culture, clowns talking like experts. Its people who say it's doomsday are the ones who are spreading this "myth"….the guy talks about warnings. What we should have a doomsday for is the of cultural leaching, culture vultures, the end of cultural B.S. and begin spiritual awakening. Peace

    @TheWhiteOwl23 The world is covered in more than 3% cities, & these cities are all in the wrong places in terms of being nature friendly, & the bush regeneration as we call it is not a natural cycle of nature, we are still losing huge chunks of forests everyday, there is a fine line to a planet being liveable, the oil's there for a reason as is the coal just like everything Earth has on offer, half the world is in starvation & climbing, & you say worst case scenario we cant drive anymore wtf.

    @dosh225 hm, were using oil which wasnt even neccessary before the 1900s, the world is covered with 3% city/towns and global warming will stop as we are runniong out of fuel. we harvest and manage crops and trees as we renew them. worst case scenario we cant drive anymore… you sir have failed

    If the bible is correct, this day will come true but it wont be the end of us, it'll be like man kind starting all over again. Nevertheless we are sucking this planet dry of all it's resources & killing everything in our path, it will only be a matter of time before we get a taste of what mother earth can really do..

    @gennadiysdengi no they didn't, they said that certain everyday comforts in our life may not work correctly, mob phone etc etc, but with ancient findings from a ancient culture stating that this will happen as does a certain area of the bible now that has got me thinking..
