• When it comes to the Mayan 2012 Prediction, is there a specific time that day that the world is going to end?

  Will the world end at a certain time like 11:30 or midnight? Will it be in the evening or morning? I don't personally believe that anything will happen Dec 21, 2012, but I think it is very interesting.

   The Mayans tended to have things hapen on midnight, so I assume the world would end at the absolute end or the absolute start of the day. Probably not at sunrise because the Mayans were focused on lunar systems.
   I am not aware of a specific time in the predictions, sorry.

   Isn't it a better idea, to say.
   If it happens, and Multiple Emphasis on the IF …lol.
   It happens, as supposedly there's nothing anyone can do about.
   So WHY, worry about it.
   However a lot of the ancient predictions, are dependent on INTERPRETATION, cNostradamus.
   So it's probably WRONG, by the same token it MAYBE right.
   Either way, if it happens. It happens, and there's nothing you can do about it. SO WHY WORRY ! ! !

   I have no answer about the time! But I have many questions. Its very disconcerting that the Mayan calendar ends this day, That the scientist have determined that this is the day that the earth will be aligned directly in the center of the universe, and that science has said there is a Black Hole in the center of the universe. What are we supposed to think? If they tell the world that these are things we should be worried about, can you imagine the mass hysterics? If it's a real possibility of some kind of cataclysmic event, shouldn't we know? 2012 isn't that far away. What kind of preparation should be done? If its a ridiculous notion then why aren't the astronomers saying so? What would happen to the earth? What would happen to the sun? What would happen to the magnetic pole? Would we have a chance to escape? Should we prepare like we did for the year 2000? That was a laugh! Would we escape by being closer to the equator? OR Will we all just be sitting around our Christmas tree 4 days later? I think I will be nervous as that day approaches. I sure hope that i am sitting around a tree (INSIDE) laughing my butt off about how worked up I got over it!

   Let'z get one thing straight…. the Mayans never predicted the end of the world on 2012!!! We only have the Mayan calendar itself ending on that date, and people have "ASSumed" they (The Mayans) were trying to tell us the world was going to end at that time!!!

   ok well just look around and investigate google is a good place or yahoo to start from dec 21 2012 to start is not the end of the world its the begining of a new Era the Era of aquarius so its not the end of the world and the mayas never said it was they just had a better understaing of the cosmos then we have and they where able to map up the costellations and the new year of the ned era starts dec 22 2012 so no its not the end of the world but make sure u watch out for usa and HAARP they can easily end what we know as our world with their little toys

   Humans have been predicting the end for thousands of years. As we are here discussing this, all of those predictions have proved to be false.

   The world is not going to end, however many humans will suffer. Basically it is the end of our long age that we are in and we are entering a new one. With every new age always had destruction before it started. The age of aquarius is the next age and it starts at any time and no one knows for sure when. There is a planet moving towards our solar system which is called planet x or nibiru. This planet is visible in the south part of our planet with a telescope and will be visible by the naked eye in over a year and in 2011 will look like a moon. The earth is moving into the middle of the milky way galaxy and the storms that will be caused from this event will be drastic. Coastlines are going to have major damage like in the areas of california, new york city, florida, definitly hawaii along with areas like texas and louisiana. earthquakes will come in massive numbers and tsunami's will strike along with hurricanes. Only a very few will survive this as it is not possible to keep most people alive during this and many who do survive this will perish in the upcoming months afterwards. This devistation is going to take decades to clean up and we are just starting a new age. I expect in 2010 the government and NASA who are currently preparing for this event will come out and let the public know that this is true and the population of the world will probably be under 1 billion by 2014.
