  Are you ready? Will this finally open your eyes!?
  the mayan calander has been right so far. it's pretty depressing to think we only have 5 more years .. you might just think i'm blowing smoke and paranoid but it's pretty obvious its a REAL threat, especially if its on the news and a 4 hour segment on the History channel .. and people need to start opening their eyes .. yeah its hard to believe and VERY sad but we need to know whats going on and prepared. Please read this, every word ..

  I believe there is a significant chance that we may experience a pole shift in 2012. Our sun is due for its 11 year cyclical pole shift, at that time. Due to the influence of a planetary alignment, also scheduled, at that time, our Earth may shift its poles too. NASA has already confirmed that the Earth's north magnetic pole has started to migrate to the South Atlantic. It has also detected a diminishing magnetic field that accompany pole shifts.

  According to some Mayans, this date marks the end of the long count of their calendar; Set to end on a winter solstice (12-21-12). On this date, our Solar system will be center aligned , in the Milky Way's equator. Our sun will be centered in a position called "The Tree of Life", as it does every 25,800 years. In this position, unusually violent sun spot activity may cause a pole shift. Earthquakes, tsunamis, and floods will run ramped. Significant loss of life will occur. Earths magnetic field will temporarily collapse. Humans will be exposed to a cosmic energy that will facilitate enlightenment.   I have been a strong believer in the 2012 Mayan calendar thing for many years, I have many friends that believe it as well. We are all well educated so we are not just blowing smoke. It is well documented that the Mayan calendar ends on ..he events in the world lately have been a good indication that we are in the end times prior to 2012. Increased volcanic activity, weird weather patterns not only in the U.S. but across the world. Look at what Japan has suffered in the past few weeks. Increased seismic activity, these are all leading up to the predictions of the Mayan calendar

  Right now we are in the period of reflexion. the period we are suppoe to reflex on what has happened. on Dec 2012. we are suppose to begin the period of enlightenment, which is truely suppose to start the period one why we are here. so many questions are going to be answered that are not answered now. This is going to cause catatrophic events. imagine all those people who believe in god , find out there is not a god. or visa versa. its going to shatter people beliefs. but the smart one are going to learn and adapt, while the rest of the world goes bonkers.

  Geologist Gregg Branden gave a lecture back in 1996. He spoke of how ancient traditions and beliefs, of the coming new age, can be explained in the language of modern science. He shows there may definitely be something to the Mayan predictions about a (pole shift) as well as life ending as we know it. In fact, he claims Earth's rotation as well as its magnetic field are already in a gradual deceleration and decline. Further, at its current rate, both should approach "Zero" on 12/21/2012. His lecture is kind of long (4 hours), but I found it very interesting.

  Difference is … 6/6/06 and the stupid Y2K was made up by morons in our time … Mayans wrote this 1,000's of years ago … and the calander has been right .. including what happened on 9-11!! how the F do you explain that =)
  One last thing!

  It is PROVEN that on December 21, 2012 the milky way COVER the sun! What will happen next is probably proven but nobody will know about it. But i'm not just believing what i read. ITS PROVEN STUFF!!!!!

  I believe that the people who are meant to live are the smart ones like me who are going to be prepared! all you non believers will just be washed away.

   Do not learn the ways of the nations or be terrified by signs in the sky, though the nations are terrified by them (Jeremiah 10:1-2).

   Enough said.

   The only thing that will happen from here till that date is that you would have wasted 5 and a half years worrying about it.

   No, Yes and does not apply. What is will end, what is not will begin. Everything Reverses. North becomes South, East becomes West. The Sun will rise in the West and set in the East. The North pole will be in Antarctica.

   Omg… I saw that on history channel few months ago. I actually wrote down the date and everything… When I told my mom about it she said: "Yeah right, like that's gonna happen?" Still I couldn't stop thinking about it. Everything I heard seemed so convincing. I tried to talk to my mom again. Then she told me about this story that happened. Few years ago two brothers came upon this calendar with a date when the world was supposed to explode. Convinced that the prophecy will come true, the brothers sold their house, said good bye to all of their friends, and prepared to face the day. Boy… they must have been pretty dissapointed to find out that nothing extraordinary happened on that day…. Their lives did change however… They were on the street without home or job, left only with shame and confusion.

   Now… I don't know if this story is real or not. In fact I believe that my mom probably made it all up just to convince me that nothing is going to change in the year 2012.

   The point of all this is you shouldn't believe everything you hear. I'm not saying that it isn't true, because it sounds pretty convincing to me. I can't wait until 2012 to see if it will actually happen. Can you imagine we would acctually get to see something our descendends could never even think about! You probably think I'm nuts but I would like to see it happen. So what if we all die? Maybe there is another life after this? Maybe there is something new for us, something better than earth? Or maybe not….

   Anyway I stopped thinking about it long time ago until I saw your question… You will forget about it soon too. And if you really think that something is definitly going to happen then just try to live your life the best way you can until that year. And don't make stupid decisions like those two brothers from the story!

   The bad news is…you're really onto something. The worse news is… nobody is going to listen so you might as well save your breath. So many fools have cried wolf in the past that no one is going to know a real threat when they see it.

   You are talking about a calendar. How for the sake of God is 9/11 mentioned there and why didn't the Mayans predict their own extinction?????????????????
