Is the world really going to end on the 21st December, 2012?
Tags: 2012, 21st, December, going, really, world
Posted in Nasa on March 9th, 2010 by RoswellUFOs.comThere has never been this much evidence on an exact date of the end of the world before. There is so much proof and evidence that can surely not all be mere coincidence.
- The Bible
- The I Ching
- Many various prophets all from different locations of the world.
- That computer thing that predicted the 9.11.
- Einstein
- NASA
- Scientists from all around the world.
- Mayan CalendarThere is just way to much evidence, and from some of the greatest things ever created too, for it to be a coincidence.

None of us know the answer, and maybe we shouldn't even predict the answer.

Actually, according the the Mayans, a significant change to the world will occur within 7 years of that date. No where at all did they state that the world would end then.

Show me some proof.
When did NASA say the world was going to end in 2012?

part of me believes it does, especially with obama and all, but dont let it stop you from living normally. you should still make plans for your future and such.

no no no honey….just a CHANGE it could just be like the year 2000 but even the myans and indians predicted it and it could be a spiritual awakening and a meteor might hit and make a polar tilt ( history repeat) and melt ice caps and a bunch of hooplah making us live like cave men(no electricity)….or even just a REALIZATION maybe….i believe SOMETHING will happen…but who knows what…ill welcome death if it's coming and a new beginning once it's here….cool but i cant post links on here…and it's like a christmas present, you may guess it, but you still don't know FOR SURE if that's it….

There actually is no scientific evidence of any kind to support any of the claims being made.
The Bible doesn't specify a date the world will end.
Neither does the I Ching.
Einstein didn't predict the end of the world. Not ONE scientist says the world will end in 2012.
Neither does NASA. They simply state that they expect this solar maximum will be stronger than recent ones.
The Mayan calendar doesn't predict the end of the world, it simply clicks over to the next cycle.
I guess that actually researching valid scientific sources is too hard for most people.
March 9th, 2010 at 2:43 pm
Probably not.
One of several Mayan calendars is the Long Count calendar, which is reset to day 0 every 1,872,000 days or 7057.5 years. The next reset date, by some calculations, is December 21, 2012. This is not a prediction of the end of the world.
These predictions are scare tactics, conspiracy theories, and chances to make money from books and movies.
Ever since the Y2K and 6/6/6 (June 6, 2006) End of the World scenarios did not pan out, the scare mongers, conspiracy theorists, book sellers, and television executives have been touting the 2012 End of the World scenario. When 2012 does not happen either, I am sure they will think of something else.
Here is also what NASA thinks about the 2012 End of the World scenario: http://pwg.gsfc.nasa.gov/stargaze/StarFAQ18.htm#q306
If you want a bit more information on the 2012 hoax, try: http://2012hoax.org
"But of that day or hour, no one knows, neither the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Be watchful! Be alert! You do not know when the time will come." (Mark 13:32-33)
Jesus told us in no uncertain terms that we were not to know when the end of the world would come but that we were always to be ready.
The early Christian Church thought that Jesus was going to return at any moment. Only after a couple of centuries did the Church realize that it may be 2,000 or 4,000 or 8,000 years before Jesus returns.
The Catholic Church wisely follows Jesus' advice and teaches that each of us should live as if we will meet our maker in the next ten minutes and that we need to work to make the world a better place for our 100 X great-grandchildren.
Do not worry about the end of the world. Trust God to make sure everything happens to plan. Just be ready to meet God at any time.
For more information, about what Catholics believe about the end of the world, see: http://www.americancatholic.org/Newsletters/CU/ac0993.asp
With love in Christ.

Can you give me the exact reference point in the Bible where it says the world will end on Dec 12, 2012? I'm curious now..
I don't know much about the I Ching…and the idea about the "various prophets around the world"… true, they may have all predicted the end of the world in their own culture. But I can tell you for sure that when something gets translated from one culture to another, the meaning is severely altered and hardly ever does something mean the same thing in one language as it does in another. So the only "prophets" I would trust on 2012 are *recent* english ones, here in America.
"that computer thing"…. ? what??
Show me proof Einstein predicted 2012 being the end of the world. I wanna see that too.
NASA ….ahahahaha. They have said no such thing. The closest world-ending prophecy from NASA is the idea of a solar storm taking place between 2011-2013
http://astrobiology.nasa.gov/ask-an-astrobiologist/intro/nibiru-and-doomsday-2012-questions-and-answers
"scientists from all around the world"….poor ones, trying to make a living by stirring up controversy. Congrats, they're doing a fine job
And the good ole Mayan Calendar.
Yes. Clearly a race of people who couldn't even predict the fall of their own civilization somehow have the power to predict the end of the entire world.
I believe that one
My opinion: it's a hoax people are trying (and succeeding) to make a lot of money off of.
March 9th, 2010 at 4:13 pm
I believe it will.
They predicted so many things on that calendar and most of those events are correct. Theres even a guy they predicted would be president this year that looks just like Obama

On December 21 2012 many things will be happening. The solar activity will be at it's maximum. We will be at shifting from the top of the Milky Way, to the bottom. We will be crossing the equator of the Milky Way, so gravity will be at it's max or something. So with that, and the maximum solar activity, the chance of solar flares coming into our atmosphere is huge. And, ii's not very good when they do. So, I think many things will be going on then, and disater could happen, but not just because some calendar says so, because of the Mayan's knowing about Astrology, and knowing what could happen. So, i highly doubt the world will end, but there is a chance.
