Opinions of 2012 also Mayan Theory supported bs NASA?
It is the end of the end of the Mayan calendar December 21, 2012 they believe the world will line up with milky way and in this happening cause the earths polar fields to reverse cause intensified global storms there will be an earthquake in every location, NASA is backing the Mayans up by this.

BTW – I don't think the world will end because of this, this type of thing happens every 26,000 years

And yes NASA is backing the Mayans on this… never assume forumosa.com/taiwan/viewtopic.php?f=21&t… – 38k

This has got to be the best source as evidence that NASA backs Mayans tho http://www.liveindia.com/mayacalendar

just remember what scientist were saying about the Y2K and nothing happend.
and there were tons of book that said that 2000 will be the ind of the world and we still here.

Hmm. Well in my opinion….. I think it is going to happen….. I am very supersticious…. and I believe all that talk about 2012 It is kind of freaking me out…. but hey…. you never know right?

I don't believe it'll happen. Remember how sure we were that Y2K was going to wipe out all of the technological logic systems and planes were going to crash out of the sky and stoplights would go haywire and any electronic money data would be lost?

It's just hype. It's a fun theory to think about, because we humans LOVE to think that the world is predictable and that finding patterns and shapes in "mysterious" (magical) astrological signs will help make our incredibly unpredictable world more predictable.

We also love to think that a culture from so long ago is more intelligent or "in the know" than modern science. "They knew it would happen!" makes us feel like there is purpose or order in the world that can be discovered even if you're not a rocket scientist.

No, it's a huge media-hype that's exciting to think about, but no different than any previous "the world will end" "the ancients knew this would happen" prophecy

There will be no "end" to the planet earth.
The "end" is more about a "shift" taking place that is evolving people away from behaving of selfish and hurtful ways of relating.

There is no real need for big worries in the next two years. When the time draws near, earthquakes may become more frequent, tides and sea levels may rise higher, and people will know what to do. The main thing is not to cause world-wide panic. In the meanwhile, let us get on with our lives and enjoy every moment we can. Do not believe totally at what doomsday sayers and charlatans, dead or alive, have said. For all you know, catastrophic events may happen only in 2029 or 2036 as also predicted. :-) ))

  7. Joe V Says:

if i say 1+1=2 and that means the world is going to end and NASA agrees with me that 1+1=2 that isn't an endorsement of my end of the world theory by NASA, that is only NASA agreeing that 1+1=2.

I think 2012 will be a self fulfilling prophecy
