• Are there any good nostradamus prophecies?

  I've noticed everytime I read about his prophecies, they're always dark and gloomy.
  Are there any good ones? Like good leaders? future leaders? future peace? Good will win? lol Just wondering…

   no i don't think so… maybe he was an outcast in his days that's why all of his prophecies we're so dark… he hated the world so much that all of his prophecies we're dark. but i think the end of the world part in 2012 is a good one. cause maybe the end of the world in his prophecy just means that… it maybe a new beginning or the end of what the world was…

   World War III: Nostradamus' popular prediction was of a third world war. While the date has been in debate for centuries, the mere mention has generated a turn around within many faiths. Some experts interpreted the date for the start of such a war as 1999. They referred to the Balkan conflict at the time. Yet some others drew attention to the September 11, 2001 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York. Obviously, they too are wrong.

   According to the quatrains on the war, Nostradamus predicted that the Slavs would raise an army, suggesting guerilla warfare. His references point towards Greece, Italy and the Mediterranean. He also links the war to the unity between the 'eagle' or the United States and the 'rooster' representing France. The quatrain refers to an alliance between England, Poland and Czechoslovakia. He also predicted that the Allies will win and that peace will prevail for a long time thereafter. Only time will be able to prove whether the Kosovo conflict or the World Trade Center attack does spark off a World War III. Nostradamus predicted the year as 3786 or 3797, according to the different Nostradamus experts.

   The predictions and prophecies of Michel de Nostredame may be debatable, but the intrigue of a man who claimed access to divinity continues.

   Check out the books of Ezekiel, Daniel and Revelation in the Bible. No exact names of people are given but countries are. You'll have to look some of the names up because they're not all the same as they were when the books were written.

   No, they're all so vague you could match them to pretty much anything you like!

   Why not be specific? Why aren't any of these apparent psychics and fortune tellers more specific? Well they use the same method. Life is a deeply complicated and chaotic thing, and with such unspecified conundrums put forward your likelihood of a match (whether distantly irrelevant or not) is very likely.

   It's all down to interpretation too, the amount of times these quatrains have been altered to read differently by different authors is crazy. It's written in a very old dialect, and like the Bible, has been scrutinised way too much!
