except not really.

I don't see why people are freaking out about this "Nostradamus 2012," Planet X (Nibiru) stuff. One, if the worlds gonna end… IT'S GONNA END. Do you actually think we could even attempt to stop it? I'm Catholic, but even if you're not, you can't disagree that if God (or someone who could possibly be as powerful as God, depending on your religious views) wills the end of the world, it's coming no matter what.
What I'm really getting at though is this Mayan calender stuff. December 21, 2012 is supposedly said to mark the end of the thirteenth B'ak'tun cycle in the Long Count of the Maya calender. This, being said, is the speculated date the world is going to end. But, chew on this for a moment:

THE MAYAN CALENDER IS REPRESENTED BY A CIRCLE.
Please correct me if I'm wrong, but a circle is infinite… there is no end to it. The most this could be is the end of a VERY long year for the Mayans, and their descendants should be flipping out because they have to go buy another 36,000 year calender.

This isn't really a question, more like a discussion. What's your take on this?
I used to be scared out of my mind, at the fact that I wouldn't even hit the legal US drinking age (21) before the world ended. But now that I read more into it, I honestly don't think it's going to happen. Maybe it will, maybe it won't… who knows.
But on December 22, 2012, if we're still alive, I'm throwing a huge party, and you're all invited. BYOB (:

now your question makes a lot of sense when the end of the world come we will not be alive to see it end any way the end of the world mite come in the year 3000 or 4000 who knows when it will end

Ok so to make a long story short I am a titanic fanatic. I love doing research on it and finding out new things about it. I was recently on youtube and guess what pops up in the featured videos column? That's right a good ol' conspiracy theory. Out of curiosity I decided to watch it and it was quite disturbing. Basically the 7 part youtube video talked about an old cult that has been around for centuries lurking in the dark and remaining unaware to the general public since medieval times. This cult is called the Illuminati and literally make "prophecies" come true. They claim that Nostradamus, prophesiers from the bible, ect were actually Illuminati members and intentionally caused their "prophecies" to happen so they can form and create the word as they see fit. The maker of the video claims that they were behind some of the world's greatest moments and disasters such as America being found by British settlers, all of the american wars (both pre and post 1776), 9/11, and a lot of previous history. The maker of the video went on to say that the current generation of Illuminati are putting into effect what "is to become" World War 3 and the end of the world. He said that the war will be between Russia, America, North and South Korea, China, Pakistan, Iran, Mexico, and many others. He also mentioned that the Illuminati were behind the sinking of the Titanic (which is why the video was in the featured list.) What do you guys think? Do you guys believe that this "secret organization" is the reason for the world's accomplishments and catastrophes and are using those things to set in motion World War 3?

Its all bull$ hit they were saying the world was going to end years ago and it never did.
