85% of all of Nostradamous's prophecies failed to come to pass …NOt a very good record….

However, 100% of all the Bible prophecies have come to pass in perfect detail.

So Whose prophecies are you willing too trust?

if anyone did the slightest bit of research* they would see the truth! nibiru doesnt exist! the nasa website even says so! the world is by no means going to end. I want to know why, despite the overwhelming proof, are so many people so ignorant as to believe that we are all going to die?

*by research i mean government websites and books, not youtube videos and third-party websites without a single shred of sources or evidence.

So, you remember those really cool peeps down in Central America, the Mayans? Ya, well, their calendar stops on December 21st, 2012. Quite frankly, I am surprised that they made it THAT far.
Reasons that the world WILL end on December 21st, 2012:
-Those darn Mayans said so
-The Hollywood movie "2012" says so.
-McKenna looked at the "I Ching" dynasty's old hyroglyphics, put them on an accurate chart to predict the future, and it ends on the date 12/21/12
-NASA predicts solar storms are coming
-The Bible says stuff about the world ending "when Israel becomes a nation, then the end is near" (it became a nation in 1948), or "the environment will be a disgrace" or something like that.
-Planets will be aligned.

Reasons that the world will NOT end on 12/21/12:
-NO ONE really knows when the world is gonna end, not even those darn Mayans.
-Everyone knows that if you take decent actors, mix them with a nice director, top it off with apocolypse, and bake it for an hour and fifty minutes, you will have a Hollywood hit.
-God promised he would never drown the world again, so the chances of the land suddenly going up like the Titanic and sinking into the ocean (as though the ocean could hold us all and all the land) is VERY unlikely.
-The odds that a GIANT meteor the size of Russia making it through the atmosphere without dicinigrating before it hits us, and stopping randomly in space just so hit will fall out of space and hit us is HIGHLY unlikely.
-God spoke of how the world would not end until EVERYONE knew the grace and goodness of God. We are only like, 62% the way there, big guy.
-Such a random date!
-Do you know how many times the apocolypse has been predicted in one way or another? About 28 times! And that's just what is on records!
-God loves us WAYYYYY too much to just let us die a slow, painful, end-of-the-world death.
-The world will only end when God says it will.

So what do you think? Answer if you think that the world is gonna end or if it won't! And state your reasons!

The world isn't going to end 2012. That's waay too early.

One day, in the DISTANT future the sun will die out just like every other star so we know we won't be around forever. Though humans will be extinct way before the sun dies.

Even if WIII started today, 2012 isn't enough time

Question by Henrique: I saw the documentary "Nostradamus 2012" Do you believe that the human race will end in 2012?
According to the documentary, on 21 December 2012, the sun will align with our galaxy, causing a galactic alignment, changing the Earth's magnetic fields and hence the equator will move to Alaska, causing a new ice age, tsunamis, earthquakes, floods, rain of fire etc..
Do you believe it? is true that the Earth has undergone several changes, several ice ages etc. .. Will it happen to us what happened to the dinosaurs? After seeing the documentary I thought a theory. I thought the theory of natural selection, discovered and explained by Darwin. I thought on December 21, 2012 would be a disaster to "do" natural selection, where all these natural disasters that supposedly will happen will be used only to extinguish our human race to be born another race. Do you agree, think the same way?
One thing is certain, we are moving closer to 2012 and increasingly there are earthquakes, tsunamis, floods, etc.. Is this just a coincidence or is it a warning that something very serious will happen in 2012?
I'd like to know your opinion on this subject mysterious and somewhat frightening.

like Nostradamus they can only to point to a prophecy as being fulfilled after the fact. they are never able to point to a specific date and say that this event will happen then. Why believe "biblical prophecy" but not Nostradamus?

There is a significant chance that we may experience a pole shift in 2012. Our sun is due for its 11 year cyclical pole shift, at that time. Due to the influence of a planetary alignment, also scheduled, at that time, our Earth may shift its poles too. NASA has already confirmed that the Earth's north magnetic pole has started to migrate to the South Atlantic. It has also detected a diminishing magnetic field that accompany pole shifts.

According to some Mayans, this date marks the end of the long count of their calendar; Set to end on a winter solstice (12-21-12). On this date, our Solar system will be center aligned , in the Milky Way's equator. Our sun will be centered in a position called "The Tree of Life", as it does every 25,800 years. In this position, unusually violent sun spot activity may cause a pole shift. Earthquakes, tsunamis, and floods will run ramped. Significant loss of life will occur. Earths magnetic field will temporarily collapse. Humans will be exposed to a cosmic energy that will facilitate enlightenment. If you would like to read about the Mayans and their predictions for the time, I have summarized them here:

Geologist Gregg Branden gave a lecture back in 1996. He spoke of how ancient traditions and beliefs, of the coming new age, can be explained in the language of modern science. He shows there may definitely be something to the Mayan predictions about a (pole shift) as well as life ending as we know it. In fact, he claims Earth's rotation as well as its magnetic field are already in a gradual deceleration and decline. Further, at its current rate, both should approach "Zero" on 12/21/2012. His lecture is kind of long (4 hours), but I found it very interesting
It is PROVEN that on December 21, 2012 the milky way COVER the sun! What will happen next is probably proven but nobody will know about it. But i'm not just believing what i read. ITS PROVEN STUFF!!!!!
