It's on Sunday night on the History channel. I've read the book, and it's AMAZING. Scary, DETAILED stuff. I highly recommend it.

What's everyone's thoughts on him?

I just caught a commercial of the up & coming show, i'm defintly checkin that out- Who was the author of the book? i might go up to the horizon bookstore and snag a copy.

I just found a new book a few days ago called "crashing through" Robert Kurston its a page turner.

It's a novel, I read it in Spanish, but it's probably a translation. I thought it was from Dumas (either one), but can't find anything like this in their bibliographies. It reads a lot like Monte Cristo, similar times, similar adventures, similar language. Large book, maybe 300 pages.

Plot: A persecuted Michel de Notre Dame marries in secret, hiding his identity even from his wife, then disappears or is taken prisoner. His wife is imprisoned by the king & has a child in some dungeons, then is released, but without the baby. After many years & many adventures they're all reunited again, Michel is now the queen's advisor, very powerful, respected & feared.

I remember the grand finale when he takes desperate measures to save his long lost son, now a man about to be executed by the evil queen he works for. The public begs for the young man to be spared because his fiancee is ready to kill herself in front of the gallows so they can die together.

I watched but they didn't say anything that wasn't said before. They seem to think everything is talking about Sept. 11. I don't know if I can trust that research. I need to read it for myself.

Now that the cause of the Norway Spiral that occurred at 9:58 a.m. on December 9th, 2009 has been readily accepted worldwide, the buzz and debate surrounding it has fizzled out. Even search engines no longer anticipate the words "Norway Spiral" in their search drop-down box as the user types the letters.

No matter what created it, the resemblance of the Norway Spiral and one of the drawings from the newly discovered drawing book of Nostradamus is uncanny. A warning, the world seems naively willing to dismiss. The event seems unmistakeably to have been for-told by Nostradamus in the "book of drawings".

Since this was the first ever spiral of its kind seen by the naked eyes of thousands of people in Norway and then shared worldwide via the Internet, it all seems to be a sign of bad things to come since another illustration from Nostradamus's Book shows a man holding the "book of life" containing blank pages.

One could conclude that If indeed the spiral was caused by a Russian missile the warning directly implicates Russia as the source of the doom to come.

From the vantage point of the Constellation Scorpio: The Norway Spiral would have appeared to be moving counter clockwise as this drawing shows.

The following should be asked of the Nostradamus Illustration:

1. Was there some type of alignment with the Constellation Scorpio at 9:58 a.m. Norway time on December 9th, 2009.

2. Is the Nobel Peace Prize Medal itself portrayed in this Illustration with the spiral, does the gold neckband indicate the medal?
I have posted the alignment question to the astronomy group and await an answer.

Is the "wheel of time" wearing the Nobel Peace Prize?

Or does the wheel resemble the LHC at CERN where fears originate about the creation of a blackhole.

Here's a quote from the book "Nostradamus Predicts the End of the World" by Rene Noorbergen.
"…Russia and the United States will ally themselves against China, the Middle East, and Latin America in the most destructive and terrifying war the world has ever experienced. In what may well be the Last Great War, conducted by conventional and nuclear weaponry as well as by biological warfare, no continent will escape devastation."

Just wondered if anyone else has seen it and whether you believe it.

Oh, in case you were wondering what went where the ellipsis is at the beginning of the quote, it was the words "Sometime before 1995…". The book was written in 1981. I wonder how I missed a whole World War. I must have really been daydreaming.
So I guess another question is, why do so many people pay any attention to all this Nostradamus nonsense?
Chainlightning, I'll be darned! I read that book and forgot all about it until you just mentioned it. I suppose what I learned from it has just been incorporated in my general knowledge.
Archit, I think if you look at the thing rationally and hear both sides, it becomes pretty clear that people comb through hundreds of vague, ambiguous verses until they find something that *could* be twisted to relate to some particular disaster. then they allow themselves the liberty of simply ignoring lines which are irrelevant and just can't be twisted. With all thos verses and all the disasters one can glean from history, it is no wonder that some contorted similarities pop up. Nostradamus didn't predict any of those things. That "Hitler" thing remains a popular reference despite the fact that it has been thoroughly debunked. The word was Hister, see the twisting? Hister is a river south of Germany. I have seen and debated all those others. Believe me, it's post hoc nonsense. Nobody EVER makes accurate predictions BEFORE the fact.

Actually… There are quite a few references that state, Russia would attack Europe, then America, after a war in the Middle East. Which doesn't make sense, I know. But if you think about it, what's the one country that could take over right now? Russia. People pay attention to it, because it's interesting.
