Why do people say there is a Bible Code when you could do the same thing with a random book?

I'm watching a special about the Bible code, but how many other religious texts contain this type of code? If they don't know, why haven't they researched it? It's so Judeo-Christian-centric that it's slightly offensive.

and our way of life being disrupted by them and we learn there is a whole other realm to living we dont even know and we are opened up by them?

if you've read "behold a pale horse", you might catch my drift about the alien thing.

by the way this is just something to ponder, 2012 could mean anything, or nothing could happen. but the prophecy says life as we know it will end.
why is it so crazy to think one day we'd be in contact with aliens.
I think its pretty crazy that in all the thought of your lifetime you cant wrap your head around this one. theres no harm in trying to imagine different possibilities and scenarios. open up your mind and stop judging. you should learn to walk into ONE THING in your life without judging, then maybe you can open your mind, sir.

all im asking is, the possibility of all these "prophecies" leading to a separate life force interrupting our s. Im sorry, what was so confusing about this?
